SpeedSys - Next Generation of Speed Monitoring and Protection

SpeedSys is Istec’s modular brand for speed monitoring and overspeed protection on rotating machinery. SpeedSys ODS provides SIL 2 and SIL 3 certified overspeed detection in a compact DIN-rail format. Its compact design enables accessible and cost-effective integration into both new and existing installations. To replace obsolete rack-based systems, Istec offers rack-insert solutions that minimize infrastructural impact; designed for completion in one day by a single engineer.

Complementing the ODS units, the SpeedSys Tachometer series offers accurate and scalable speed monitoring with up to three channels. These devices convert rotational speed into analog signals and relay outputs for alarms, trips, or data collection. VibSys – Rethinking Vibration Monitoring
