Generator Control System - Using microprocessor based control equipment the TCL design team have developed a stand-alone system capable of providing the following functions:-

  • Automatic voltage regulation up to an excitation current of 30A
  • Generator automatic synchronisation, with phase shift algorithms
  • Generator protection functions

The new system provides a cost effective solution to generator control including monitoring and diagnostics.

Avon Soft Start - TCL are pleased to announce the development of a new SMARTStart system for gas turbine DC starter motors.
TCL have designed this product to address the issue of aging starter systems which rely on electro-mechanical timers and DC contactors. These electrical devices have become unreliable and spare parts are increasingly difficult to source.
The TCL SMARTStart system uses solid state components to control the current though the starter to provide a more progressive increase in current (soft start). This greatly reduces the stresses on the starter motor, increasing life and reliability.  The system provides a reliable solution to starter motor control with sequencing control and diagnostics.  Please contact sales@tcluk.net for more information or a quote.
